Description

THIOMAX is a premium quality second generation systemic insecticide containing Thiamethoxam 25% WG, belonging to the neonicotinoid group of insecticides. As a second generation neonicotinoid, Thiamethoxam offers superior systemic activity, faster plant absorption and broader pest spectrum compared to first generation neonicotinoids like Imidacloprid. It works by binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the insect nervous system with very high affinity, causing continuous nerve stimulation, paralysis and rapid death of the target pest upon contact or ingestion.

THIOMAX is one of the most versatile insecticides available to Indian farmers today — it can be applied as a foliar spray, soil drench or seed treatment depending on the crop, pest situation and growth stage. As a seed treatment it provides systemic protection from the very moment of germination, giving crops the strongest possible start free from sucking pest pressure during the critical early establishment phase. As a soil drench at transplanting it protects young seedlings against both soil pests and early sucking pest infestations. As a foliar spray it delivers fast and reliable knockdown of aphids, whiteflies, thrips and jassids across a wide range of crops.

The water dispersible granule formulation of THIOMAX offers significant handling and safety advantages over liquid formulations — it is easier to measure, mix and transport, produces no solvent odour, disperses quickly and completely in water and provides excellent storage stability.
