Description
CHLOROKING is an advanced next-generation insecticide containing Chlorantraniliprole 0.4% GR, belonging to the diamide group of insecticides. It is specially formulated as easy-to-use granules for soil and water surface application in transplanted rice fields for highly effective stem borer management. Chlorantraniliprole works by activating ryanodine receptors in insect muscle cells, causing uncontrolled release of calcium ions which leads to muscle paralysis and death of the target pest — through a completely unique mode of action compared to conventional insecticides.
CHLOROKING granules are simply broadcast by hand across the standing water in the paddy field — no mixing, no spray equipment and no protective gear required for application. This makes it one of the easiest and most farmer-friendly insecticide formulations available today. The granules slowly dissolve in the standing water, releasing the active ingredient uniformly across the field and providing complete protection to the rice crop.
With an exceptionally long residual activity of up to 30–40 days from a single application, CHLOROKING provides season-long protection during the most critical growth stages of the rice crop — from tillering through to panicle initiation — when stem borer damage causes the greatest yield loss. Its unique mode of action also makes it an ideal rotation partner to manage resistance against conventional insecticides. Relatively safe for beneficial insects, birds and mammals at recommended application rates.
