Description
CYPERFORCE 505 is a highly effective combination insecticide containing Chlorpyriphos 50% + Cypermethrin 5% EC, bringing together two of the most trusted and widely used insecticide molecules in Indian agriculture into a single powerful formulation. Chlorpyriphos belongs to the organophosphate group and works by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase enzyme activity in the insect nervous system, causing paralysis and death through contact and stomach action. Cypermethrin belongs to the synthetic pyrethroid group and works by disrupting voltage-gated sodium ion channels in insect nerves, delivering immediate fast knockdown of target pests within hours of application.
The synergistic combination of these two complementary modes of action gives CYPERFORCE 505 a decisive advantage over single molecule insecticides — delivering both the immediate fast knockdown of Cypermethrin and the deeper systemic penetration and longer residual activity of Chlorpyriphos in a single spray application. This dual action approach ensures complete pest control across all feeding stages and pest types — from fast moving adult insects to larvae hidden within plant tissue and soil dwelling pests around the root zone.
CYPERFORCE 505 emulsifiable concentrate formulation ensures excellent mixing in water, superior spray coverage and strong adhesion to leaf surfaces even after light rainfall. It is one of the most versatile insecticide combinations available — effective across a wide range of crops including cotton, rice, wheat, vegetables, fruit crops and sugarcane against an equally broad spectrum of economically important pests. With good residual activity of up to 15–20 days and a highly economical cost per acre, CYPERFORCE 505 delivers reliable and comprehensive crop protection with fewer spray applications — significantly reducing overall input costs and labour requirements during the crop season. For best results apply at the first sign of pest infestation and rotate with insecticides of different mode of action to prevent resistance development in target pest populations.
