Description
FENOPRIME is a trusted and effective insecticide containing Fenobucarb (BPMC) 50% EC, belonging to the carbamate group of insecticides. It is widely used across India for reliable and fast control of brown planthoppers, white backed planthoppers and green leafhoppers in rice crops — some of the most destructive sucking pests that cause severe yield loss through direct feeding damage and transmission of viral diseases. Fenobucarb works by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase enzyme in the insect nervous system, causing rapid paralysis and death of the target pest within hours of contact or ingestion.
FENOPRIME is particularly valued for its fast knockdown activity against hoppers and leafhoppers at the base of rice plants where these pests congregate in large numbers. For best hopper control, spray should be directed towards the base and lower portions of the rice plant where pest populations are highest. Its emulsifiable concentrate formulation mixes easily and uniformly in water, ensuring thorough coverage and consistent results across the field with standard spray equipment.
With good residual activity of up to 10–15 days and a broad pest spectrum covering both hoppers and other sucking pests, FENOPRIME provides reliable crop protection during the critical vegetative and reproductive stages of rice when hopper damage can cause devastating yield loss.
