Description

CORONIL is a premium quality systemic insecticide containing Chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC, belonging to the diamide group of insecticides. It is widely regarded as one of the most effective and reliable solutions for stem borer, leaf folder and caterpillar management across a broad range of crops including rice, cotton, vegetables and fruit crops. Chlorantraniliprole works through a completely unique mode of action — it activates ryanodine receptors in insect muscle cells, causing unregulated release of calcium ions which leads to immediate muscle paralysis and death of the target pest within hours of exposure.

CORONIL suspension concentrate formulation ensures excellent mixing in water, superior rainfastness and outstanding coverage on leaf surfaces. Its systemic properties allow rapid absorption through the leaf cuticle and translocation throughout the plant — providing protection to new growth and plant parts not directly contacted by the spray. This makes it highly effective even against hidden pests like stem borers that feed inside the plant tissue.

With residual protection of up to 14–21 days per application, CORONIL significantly reduces the number of spray rounds required during the crop season — saving time, labour and overall input costs.
