Description

DEFENDA is a highly effective broad-spectrum insecticide containing Fipronil 5% SC, belonging to the phenylpyrazole group of insecticides. It is widely trusted by farmers across India for reliable control of termites, stem borers, white grubs and a wide range of soil and foliar pests in rice, sugarcane, cotton and vegetable crops. Fipronil works by blocking GABA-gated chloride ion channels in the insect nervous system, causing hyperexcitation of nerves and muscles, leading to paralysis and death of the target pest upon contact or ingestion.

DEFENDA suspension concentrate formulation ensures excellent mixing in water, superior rainfastness and outstanding coverage on both leaf surfaces and soil.
