IMISECT 70 is a premium quality highly concentrated systemic insecticide containing Imidacloprid 70% WG, belonging to the neonicotinoid group of insecticides. With nearly four times the concentration of standard Imidacloprid formulations, IMISECT 70 delivers powerful and reliable sucking pest control at significantly lower application volumes — making it one of the most economical and convenient insecticide options available to farmers today. It works by binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the insect nervous system, causing continuous nerve stimulation, paralysis and death of the target pest.
IMISECT 70 water dispersible granule formulation offers several key advantages over liquid formulations — it is easier and safer to handle, measure and transport, produces no solvent odour during mixing, disperses quickly and completely in water and provides excellent stability during storage. The WG formulation is particularly well suited for seed treatment applications where precise, low-volume dosing is critical for uniform seed coverage and crop safety.
As a seed treatment, IMISECT 70 provides systemic protection from the very moment of germination — giving crops the best possible start free from sucking pest pressure during the critical early establishment phase when plants are most vulnerable.
