GRAPHMITE is a highly effective specific acaricide containing Propargite 57% EC, widely trusted by farmers across India for reliable and long lasting control of spider mites and other economically important mite species in cotton, fruit crops, vegetables and tea. Propargite works by disrupting mitochondrial ATP synthesis in mite cells — a completely unique mode of action that is unrelated to conventional insecticide mechanisms — causing energy starvation and death of target mites across all life stages including eggs, nymphs and adults.

One of the key advantages of GRAPHMITE is its ovicidal activity — it is effective against mite eggs as well as mobile stages, breaking the mite reproductive cycle and preventing population resurgence after treatment. This complete life stage activity makes GRAPHMITE significantly more effective than acaricides that only control mobile adult and nymph stages, as untreated eggs would otherwise hatch and rapidly rebuild the mite population within 7–10 days of application. A single well-timed application of GRAPHMITE can therefore provide much longer effective mite control compared to products with incomplete life stage coverage.

GRAPHMITE emulsifiable concentrate formulation ensures excellent mixing in water, uniform spray coverage and strong adhesion to leaf surfaces. For best results against spider mites which congregate predominantly on the underside of leaves, thorough coverage of both upper and lower leaf surfaces is essential. With long residual activity of up to 20–25 days and no cross resistance with commonly used organophosphate, pyrethroid or neonicotinoid insecticides, GRAPHMITE is an ideal rotation partner in resistance management programmes for mite control. It is particularly recommended during hot and dry weather conditions when spider mite populations build up rapidly and can cause severe bronzing, leaf drop and yield loss in cotton, mango and citrus orchards if not controlled promptly and effectively.
