Description
CHLOROGUARD is a reliable and effective soil insecticide containing Chlorpyriphos 10% GR, specially formulated as easy-to-use granules for control of soil-dwelling pests and root zone insects in a wide range of crops. It works by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase enzyme activity in the insect nervous system, causing continuous nerve stimulation, paralysis and death of target soil pests upon contact or ingestion.
CHLOROGUARD granules are simply broadcast or incorporated into the soil before sowing — no mixing, no spray equipment and minimal protective gear required for application. This makes it one of the most convenient and farmer-friendly soil insecticide formulations available. Upon contact with soil moisture, the granules slowly release the active ingredient into the root zone, creating a protective barrier against soil-dwelling pests throughout the critical early crop establishment phase.
With a long residual activity of up to 30–40 days in soil, CHLOROGUARD provides season-long protection against termites, white grubs, cutworms and other soil pests that cause severe damage to crop roots and stems during early growth stages. It is particularly recommended as a preventive treatment in fields with a history of termite or white grub infestation. A single application at sowing time is usually sufficient to protect the crop through its most vulnerable early growth period — significantly reducing crop loss and improving overall plant stand and yield.
