Description
ACETAPOWER is a highly effective systemic insecticide containing Acetamiprid 20 SP, widely used for the control of sucking pests in a broad range of crops including cotton, rice, vegetables and fruit crops. It belongs to the neonicotinoid group of insecticides and works by binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the insect nervous system, causing continuous nerve stimulation, paralysis and eventual death of the target pest.
ACETAPOWER provides both contact and systemic action — it is rapidly absorbed through the leaf surface and translocated throughout the plant, providing protection even to new growth and parts of the plant not directly sprayed. Its soluble powder formulation dissolves quickly and completely in water, ensuring uniform spray coverage and consistent pest control results.
With a residual activity of up to 15–20 days, ACETAPOWER provides long-lasting crop protection with fewer spray applications — reducing labour costs and overall input expenses. It is particularly effective against aphids, whiteflies, thrips and jassids which are among the most damaging sucking pests in Indian agriculture. For best results, apply at the first sign of pest infestation before population build-up occurs.
