Description

EMASTRONG is a highly effective systemic insecticide containing Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG, belonging to the avermectin group of insecticides. It is widely regarded as one of the most powerful and reliable solutions for caterpillar and borer management across a broad range of crops including cotton, rice, vegetables and fruit crops. Emamectin Benzoate works by activating glutamate-gated chloride ion channels in insect nerve and muscle cells, causing increased permeability to chloride ions, leading to hyperpolarization, paralysis and death of the target pest within 24–48 hours of exposure.

EMASTRONG possesses both systemic and translaminar activity — it is rapidly absorbed through the leaf surface and moves through the leaf tissue, providing protection on both sides of the leaf and to new plant growth not directly contacted by the spray. This translaminar movement makes it particularly effective against hidden pests like leaf folders and stem borers that feed inside rolled leaves or plant stems where direct spray contact is difficult to achieve.

With an extremely low application rate of just 80–100 grams per acre and rainfast activity within 4 hours of application, EMASTRONG is one of the most economical and convenient insecticide options available to farmers today.
