Description

WEEDLOCK is a powerful selective pre-emergence herbicide containing Pretilachlor 50% EC, specially formulated for effective weed management in transplanted and direct-seeded rice fields. It works by inhibiting cell division and protein synthesis in germinating weed seedlings, preventing them from establishing in the paddy field.

WEEDLOCK is best applied 3–5 days after transplanting when a shallow layer of standing water is maintained in the field. Its emulsifiable concentrate formulation ensures uniform spread across the water surface, providing complete field coverage. With a residual activity of up to 45–50 days, WEEDLOCK keeps the rice field weed-free during the most critical growth stages — resulting in healthier crop establishment, reduced manual weeding costs and significantly improved yield.
