Description

AGRIFORT is a powerful selective herbicide containing Oxyfluorfen 23.5% EC, widely used for effective pre-emergence and early post-emergence weed control in onion, garlic, cotton and plantation crops. It belongs to the diphenyl ether group of herbicides and works by inhibiting protoporphyrinogen oxidase (PPO) enzyme, disrupting cell membrane integrity in weed seedlings when activated by light.

AGRIFORT is best applied to moist soil before weed emergence or at the very early stage of weed growth. Its emulsifiable concentrate formulation ensures thorough and uniform soil coverage, creating a herbicidal barrier that prevents weed establishment. With a long residual activity of up to 60 days, AGRIFORT keeps fields clean throughout the critical crop growth period — reducing manual weeding effort, lowering input costs and improving overall crop yield and quality.
