Description

CROPSAFE is an advanced selective pre-emergence herbicide containing Pretilachlor 37% EW, formulated as an oil-in-water emulsion for safer and more effective weed management in rice fields. Unlike conventional EC formulations, the EW (Emulsifiable Water) formulation contains significantly less organic solvent, making it safer for the applicator, crop and surrounding environment.

CROPSAFE works by inhibiting cell division and lipid synthesis in germinating weed seedlings, preventing their establishment in the paddy field. It is best applied 3–5 days after transplanting under standing water conditions. The unique EW formulation ensures better droplet coverage, uniform distribution across the field surface and improved rainfastness compared to standard EC products.

With a residual activity of up to 40–45 days, CROPSAFE provides season-long weed-free conditions during the critical early growth phase of rice — leading to better tillering, stronger crop stand and higher yields with significantly reduced labour costs.
