Description
HEXALON 75 is a premium quality highly concentrated systemic fungicide containing Hexaconazole 75% WG, the most advanced and economical Hexaconazole formulation available in the Indian market today. With 75% active ingredient content — fifteen times more concentrated than standard 5% SC formulations — HEXALON 75 delivers powerful and reliable fungal disease control at the lowest possible dose per acre, making it the most cost effective Hexaconazole option for large scale farming operations and commercial growers looking to minimise input costs without compromising on crop protection quality.
Hexaconazole works by inhibiting the enzyme lanosterol 14-alpha demethylase in the ergosterol biosynthesis pathway of fungal cells — disrupting cell membrane formation and causing complete cessation of fungal growth and reproduction. This sterol biosynthesis inhibition mechanism gives HEXALON 75 both preventive and curative activity — preventing new fungal infections when applied before disease onset and stopping existing infections from spreading further when applied after first symptoms appear. Its systemic activity ensures rapid absorption through the leaf cuticle and translocation throughout the plant, providing complete protection including to new growth not directly contacted by the spray.
The Water Dispersible Granule formulation of HEXALON 75 offers significant advantages over liquid SC formulations — it is easier and safer to handle, measure and transport, produces no solvent odour during mixing, disperses quickly and completely in water with no undissolved residue and provides excellent storage stability even under harsh temperature and humidity conditions. At an extremely low application rate of just 20–25 grams per acre and with residual activity of up to 25–30 days per application, HEXALON 75 delivers outstanding fungal disease control at a fraction of the cost of standard formulations — significantly reducing the number of spray applications required during the crop season and saving considerable time, labour and overall input expenses for farmers managing large cultivation areas.
